WHO WE ARE
Hi, I’m Mark. I’m in my mid-30s and in recovery from sex/pornography addiction. I’m on a journey of personal growth, seeking an understanding of what it means to be a healthy and safe man of integrity.
I live in San Diego with my wife, cat, and an exorbitant cost of living. We (cat not included) enjoy stand-up paddleboarding, boogieboarding, tidepooling, running/walking, hiking, petting wild animals, and travelling.
Personally, I enjoy lifting weights, running, occasionally skateboarding (again, I’m in my 30s), writing, reading, listening to angry music, and playing PS5. I still haven’t learned to surf (I just like it, okay?)
OUR VISION
My deepest desire is to encourage and equip other men to take a stand against pornography, sex addiction, and the accompanying disintegrated life of shame and despair.
As a man in the process of combatting unwanted sexual behavior and pursuing a life of integration, joy, and freedom, I want to foster a space of insight, healing, and new action for myself and others like me.
Self-contempt, deceit, and disconnection need not have the final say. Let us acknowledge past hurts, current pain, and learn how to grow into the men God intended us to be.
